Getting Around Lawrence

Public Transportation

Lawrence Transit has information regarding the bus system. The regular fare is $1 for a one-way trip, or you can buy a day pass for $2.75. Route information and bus schedules can be found here. Most bus routes serve the KU campus.

Car services such as Uber and Lyft are also available in Lawrence.  You can find estimates regarding their fares online and access their services through their respective mobile apps.

Parking at KU

All conference panels will take place in the Malott Room of the Kansas Memorial Union. The Union features on-campus dinning options and is a short walk from the Oread Hotel.

There is a parking garage located next to the Kansas Memorial Union with entrances on Jayhawk Blvd as well as Mississippi Street. Parking in the garage is $1.75 for the first hour and $1.50 for each subsequent hour. Parking may also be found for free in the neighborhoods surrounding KU.
